Application of Infrared Heating Lamps in PET Blow Molding Machines

Infrared heating technology is the mainstream method for heating PET. It employs a constant-temperature control infrared heating system, allowing each infrared lamp tube to be independently temperature-controlled to ensure uniform preform heating.

 

The infrared plastic bottle preform heater features seven layers of heating lamps divided into four heating zones. The electrical cabinet houses thermal control components. After a 5–8 minute preheating period upon startup, temperature data from thermocouples is transmitted to the temperature controller for automatic regulation, ensuring stable temperature control within the heating chamber. With strong infrared penetration capability, the radiation effectively penetrates PET material and uniformly heats the PET preforms quickly and reliably, guaranteeing optimal heating results.
