Under different heating temperatures, the infrared emitter in the infrared heating tube shows different radiation characteristics in different wavelength ranges.

The wavelength has a significant effect on the heating process. Short wave radiation (< 2um) can penetrate into some solid materials to ensure uniform heating. Medium wave radiation (2-4um) is mostly absorbed by the surface, that is, the main heating surface, which is often used to heat plastics, glass and water.
