Quartz Infrared Heating Tube Transportation, Installation, and Usage Tips and Instructions

Contact us

1. The heating tube can be installed horizontally, vertically, or at an angle; however, if vertical or inclined installation is required, please specify this before placing your order.

2. During transportation and handling, protective measures must be taken to avoid severe vibration and shaking.

3. When customers transport or ship the product themselves after purchase, they must implement anti-vibration and anti-pressure protection measures. Warning labels such as "Glassware—Handle with Care, Do Not Crush" should be clearly affixed to the packaging box.

4. During loading and unloading, handle the tubes gently and carefully; avoid rough handling or rough transportation.

5. Before installing the heating tube, carefully inspect the quartz glass casing and ceramic ends for any damage, and check whether the power cords at both ends are loose or detached. Only proceed with installation after thorough inspection.

6. As a brittle material, the heating tube requires gentle and patient handling during installation.

7. During installation, take necessary protective measures according to the specific conditions of the equipment and the object being heated (e.g., shock absorption for the heating tube, methods to reduce voltage instability, ensuring that the tube clamps used to secure the heating tube at high temperatures do not expand or deform), to prevent mechanical damage to the heating tube and frequent electrical current shocks caused by voltage fluctuations.

8. Use aluminum reflective hoods, mirror-finished stainless steel reflectors, flat or parabolic reflectors to improve infrared radiation efficiency.

9. The optimal distance between the heating tube and the object being heated should be between 50 mm and 450 mm, depending on the specific characteristics of the item being dried.

10. The operating environment of the heating tube should avoid intense vibration, shaking, or impact.

11. The heating tube can be used for heating in acidic or alkaline environments, but it is not suitable for heating in highly acidic or strongly alkaline solutions.

12. The ambient temperature for using the entire heating tube should not exceed 400℃. For working environments where the temperature ranges from above 350℃ to below 400℃, the power cord and sealed ends of the heating element must be placed outside the high-temperature zone, or use power cables rated for temperatures above 500℃. If the ambient temperature exceeds 400℃, both ends of the heating tube must be located in an environment below 350℃.

13. In case of lamp tube damage, please contact us promptly. We will actively assist you to ensure your satisfaction.
